Lupe:Nashai 1st draft

Nashai Catlett
Lupe

O7. , 07. It’s sunny outside, everyone’s happy and guess what? That’s not even the best part. It’s graduation. You know how it is on your graduation, so crazy. Lupe was so excited to move on to high school. Everyone was nervous, but not him. Lupe loved the fact that he got to start over. He was so happy to get out of P.S. 118. The main thing was no more getting bullied. No more getting into it with Bob the big bully, he told his friend Fatar. And the best thing, Lupe shouted. NO MORE WEDGIES! Even if some did try to give him a wedgie, they couldn’t because he made a science project on anti-wedgies.
“I am so ready”, Lupe thought to himself. “High school’s going to be decent,” Lupe kept telling himself constantly. But he couldn’t believe it. And as soon as he started to have a disappointing attitude, as months went by the kids started treating like an outsider. “Look at the fat weirdo,” Some would shout and then the whole crowd around him and start to laugh uproariously. He felt like an outsider and this would be a daily routine for Lupe. Getting picked on and going to class would be-basically apart of his day. But you know there is so much a person can take.
So one Sunday Lupe was on his step with his friend Norman. And they’re on their chill, laid back and Lupe comes out of nowhere and says, “Yo Norman, you know u like one of my best friends right?” Norman looks at Lupe in a weird balled-up face and hesitantly says, “Yea.”
“So just take care of my dad and my sister man, I love them to death.”
Norman is silent and doesn’t say anything.
“You hear me dawg!”
“Y-yea, I hear you man, but why you say that like you goin somewhere?”
Lupe gets teary-eyed and just flags his hand at Norman and says, “Whatever man, just forget I’ll holla at you tomorrow.” And leaves Norman.
It’s Monday morning and he wakes up to get ready for school. While he’s walking to his dad’s room, he smiles, and then he begins to laugh. Lupe thought if he can’t stop them then what else can he do. “They wanna play wit me,” he says, “I got them.” He goes under his dad’s mattress and pulls out his dad’s shiny, silver pistol. It was small and he could see his self through the clean metal. Lupe walks too school with a huge smirk on his face. “What are you smiling at, you fat weirdo, thinking about food?” “You really wanna see?” Lupe says. “Yea” Lupe slowly goes in his pants and pulls out the pistol. Norman looks at the gun and starts yelling, “Oh my!”-And before he could finish his sentence Lupe shoots him. BAM! Before you know he starts targeting his victims who mad his school year hell. Kweli, BAM! Clifford BAM! And a lot more others. Know. He was done. There was just one more person-Himself. See, Lupe knew what he did, and he the consequences. So with not even a second thought he puts his father’s pistol to his head, prays to God and apologizes for what he did and BAM!

The story mostly takes place at lupes high school..

The main problem that the charater faces is that he always got picked on at school.

The problems didnt really worked out though, but i think it was at the part when Lupe kept shooting every body at the end of the story.

The story ends by Lupe killing everybody who gave him a bad time at school.

The extra scene that i would suggest is that a scene were he plans out an attack but i didnt work and end up killing the wrong people.

Lupe: Had mixed feelings thoughout the whole story and end up feeling something dangerous towards the end
Norman: Wasnt involved that much in the story, but he was Lupe best friend.

The author is the protagonist and he tells us directly what was happening in his usual day in school.

The reader had to infer a little about when he told Norman to take care of his dad and sister. Also when he took the pistol under his dads matterest.

The added deatail that would strengthen Norman is to tell a little about his life. Or a short background about what he go through in his life or at school.
