One-night two boys named Shareef and Quadir were leaving Cheltenham Mall after a long day of shopping when Quadir decided for them to take the shortcut home. Quadir decided to take this route because he wanted to see all who were outside. While walking Quadir noticed, a man dressed in all black in a distance behind him. Quadir paid the man no mind since he was not alone and felt as if nothing could happen to him. Shareef never looked back exercising his favorite thing to do talking.
They continued to walk but every chance Quadir got he was looking out the corner of his eye to see if the man was still there which he was. They finally reached this lot where if this man followed he would have to be following them since no one ever cut through there before. Quadir kept a look out to see whether the man was following. The man took a left turn to their right and a burden lifted off Quadir’s shoulders. Quadir then told Shareef the crazy story and laughed about it.
They reached the end of the lot when “Bam”! The man jumped out of no where and commanded them to hand over everything they had. Neither of them moved or responded. The man grew mad and ordered them again. They handed him the stuff and the man ran off.
Shareef was as mad as they went on their way walking home. He thought this could happen to him. Quadir never spoke a work he just wanted to act like this never happened. But how would they explain arriving home empty handed...?

It was a good story, I really liked the ending

2. SUGGEST AN EXTRA SCENE TO STRENGTHEN THE PLOT. Let the man do a little more talking and shareef putting up a little more fight.

The man, Quadir, and his friend Shareef. Quadir is like a well known person and cant believe he was being robbed by one person and he was with a friend. The man shows how ruthless people in the world can be. Shareef likes to talk a lot and is not aware of his surroungings.
2. DIRECT CHARACTERIZATION: WHAT DOES THE AUTHOR TELL US "DIRECTLY" ABOUT THE PROTAGONIST (MAIN CHARACTER) FROM HIS OR HER PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY?
He was well known and didnt usually have this type of problem.
3. INDIRECT CHARACTERIZATION: WHAT DO WE LEARN "INDIRECTLY" ABOUT THE PROTAGONIST FROM WHAT HE OR SHE SAYS (DOES)? WHAT DO WE LEARN ABOUT THE PROTAGONIST FROM WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT HIM OR HER? He has never been in this situation before and was counting on his friend to be there for him.
4. SUGGEST AN ADDED DETAIL TO STRENGTHEN THE DESCRIPTION OF ONE MAJOR OR MINOR CHARACTER. Explain what happens when they get home.

4. I would like to know what happened to the man who stole their belonging
