It wasn’t meant to be. He was just too old for me, but still I let hi get to me. I met him through Deek; I knew she thought it was a mistake from the way she looked at me when we greeted one another. I didn’t find him to be attractive but he was a cool person. Our first night on the phone was something amazing. We talked for almost five hours about everything from school to our goals and even our relationships. We were both in a relationship but I just took him to be a friend and there was no harm in having a friend.
The next morning Deek needed to go to the hospital, no one would take her and it wasn’t a big emergency for the ambulance, the only person that I could think of that would take her was K. He came to take us to the hospital. “So what time did you go to sleep last night?” he asked me as I sat in the back seat of his car. “Soon as we got off da fone.” I replied. I could feel the tension as I answered his question. I looked up and Deek shot me a hard stare. I turned my head so that our eyes did not meet again.
My birthday slowly began to approach and Kanye and me were talking everyday. I still viewed him as a really good friend and nothing more. The day before my birthday I was visiting my current boyfriend, and K called me. He told me that he had something for me when I got home. I was curious to know what he had for me. As soon as I got home I called him. About twenty minutes later he came to bring me my gift.
Before I get what the gift was let me explain the first day we met. Deek had come to my house to visit. She needed to go to the pet store to get a leash for her iguana. K promised that he would buy it because she braided his hair. He came to the house to pick her up, and she asked me to ride with her. As I got in the car she formally introduced us. “ Hey wassup?” he said “Hey.” I replied “Nene this is Kanye, Kanye this is my little sister Nene.” Deek said, she loved to tell people that I was her younger sister although I looked about two years older than her.
The next time we met was after my little cousin Toni’s dance show. Deek didn’t want to catch the bus back home, I really didn’t care that’s how we got down there, and so she went to bum a ride from K. As we approached is dads house I noticed a bunch of guys with him, so I decided to wait next to a tree. “They already saw you.” he laughed after he noticed that I was next to the tree.
In the car he was trying to tell me about a friend of his that was interested in me. Deek was ear hustling so he said that he would call me and tell me. He had my number from Deek because she called him from my phone. That night he called me and we talked from there.
When he came to my house to give me my gift, he had a smirk on his face as he handed me a card. He said to wait until he left to open the card. I opened the card and found a letter. The letter expressed how he had begun to grow feelings for me. I wasn’t surprised that he had begun to catch feelings because he always wanted to see me. I still viewed him as a good friend and nothing more because he was there for me when my boyfriend and me broke up.
As time passed we became close and talked frequently. I had started to catch feelings for him. My family saw that we were getting closer and did not approve of it. I was told stay away from him and I wasn’t allowed to talk to him on the phone anymore. We started to sneak to see one another. I started to lie about where I was going and how ling I was going to be there to be with him.
That’s when it happened; I lost my virginity to him. He was too old for me but still he just right for me. He was the person that I wanted to be with. I didn’t know what to do so I told my cousin Jameala. I thought my secret was safe with her, well I thought wrong. The next day she told grandma. You slept with him.” Grandma said as I walked in the door from school. “I was gonna tell you but in my own way.” I replied in a shaky tone.
She began to throw everything at me that she could get her hands on. She was throwing everything imaginable. She threw a soda bottle, the baby’s bottle, her cigarettes, and even the broom. I was running around the entire house to get away from the flying objects.
The next day I told Kanye that it was really over between us because I hurt my grandma with my lies and deceit. To this day we are still friends but we are not the friends we used to be because I let feelings get involved.

I think you would benefit from more “showing” and less “telling.” You need to review rules for run-on sentences.
